Brien Weidemiller is a Christian, devoted husband and father, businessman, and proud Marine Corps veteran dedicated to serving the people of Marion County. Guided by faith, family values, and a strong sense of duty, Brien has spent his life leading with integrity and working hard to support his community.
As a successful businessman, Brien understands the importance of fiscal responsibility, smart growth, and creating an environment where local families and small businesses can thrive. His Marine Corps service instilled in him the principles of honor, courage, and commitment—values he continues to carry into every aspect of his life.
Now, I am running for County Commissioner to ensure Marion County remains a safe, prosperous, and family-focused place to live. I am committed to transparent leadership, protecting taxpayer dollars, supporting law enforcement, and standing up for the residents he proudly calls neighbors.

Six years in the United States Marine Corps shaped my approach to responsibility, discipline, and leading from the front. After my service, I built Weide Automotive and Repair from the ground up, creating a business known for honesty, hard work, and community support. I’ve spent years working directly with residents, first responders, and local families, building trust through action and accountability. My background has given me a deep understanding of how county decisions affect everyday people, and it drives my commitment to deliver practical solutions that improve safety, strengthen infrastructure, and support the values that make Marion County home.
